Get Involved

There are many, many ways to get involved with the Why17? campaign, here are just 17...

  1. Pledge your support and add your name to the supporters list

  2. Take part in our survey for our Westminster Parliamentary Event

  3. Contact your MP and get him or her involved

  4. Put a Why17? campaign poster up at work, school, college, uni, gp surgery, library, pub, shop...

  5. Email at least 17 of your friends, family and colleagues about the campaign

  6. Offer to be interviewed by the media

  7. Give up something for 17 months and be sponsored for it

  8. Have friends round for coffee and cakes on the 17th

  9. Walk, run, hop, skip, cycle, swim, hike, bounce, jog, skate 17 miles

  10. Make a donation of £17

  11. Hold a dress-down day on the 17th of the month and charge everyone £1 (or £1.70!)

  12. Have a clearout and sell 17 things on eBay

  13. Arrange a quiz night with a 17 theme

  14. Hold a sponsored spinathon/danceathon for 17 hours

  15. Recruit 17 people to the campaign via your Facebook page

  16. Create a large number "17" and cover it in coins

  17. Display a Why17? campaign window cling in your car
